My love for nature was present from very early on in my life and although I was infected with the computer “virus” at an early age, too, I always felt the urge to spend a lot of time “out in the wild”.

However it took quite some time until I started to explore and record nature and animal life in a photographic way. But unfortunately I had to wait until 2003 for a suitable and affordable digital camera.

Since then the following goal is the main intention in my photography: 

I want to bring the beauty of nature and wildlife, but also their fragility, to as many people’s attention as possible.

Since the year 2003 I’ve also been involved in Tiger conservation by selling so far about 2,500 photos, about 15,000 postcards (with great help from the “Friends of the Wilhelma”) and a limited edition of my “Cats Unlimited 2006” calendar and donating the revenue (nearly 10,000 Euro) to 21st Century Tiger. This year I’m trying to take the calendar sale into the next “dimension”...
